2004 EX AWD 2.4L AC went out a couple years ago but pulley locked up on me this week. Using youtube help I decided to bypass the AC compressor and save myself $400. Started with the 54.5 inch K7 belt as was used in the video but it was too short. Chose a 55.5 inch K6 that fits fine and car is running.Step 7. Refer to the belt configuration chart for proper routing. Ensure that the grooves on the inside of the new belt match up with the grooves on the pulley.Get an extra pair of hands instead. With the vehicle on the ground and wheel all the way to the side, you can easily pop out the clips to the side access flap with a screwdriver. Pull the old belt out and cut the zip tie.
