Given, the first few hundred of Kaplan were spent figuring out board-style questions, so perhaps that would be a few percent higher if I flipped them.Is UWorld Harder Than Step 1? But the scoring system is different than NBME, and those scores are just approximations. So maybe a 78% on uworld 2 is a 250, but maybe step 2 is harder so a 70% is 250. Only 4% of US students score 270+. Also, no one resource "is enough" for a certain score. There are some people who only use UWorld and score 270, and there are others who use OME, Anki, UWorld and Amboss to barely scrape by with a 210. Are these the same questions part of the step 1 study plan. AMBOSS are generally harder and make you jog your neurons around the track a couple of more time before you settle in on an answer. While helpful, it’s mentally challenging and tiring. I got an AMBOSS scholarship for one year.Personally, I thought Step 2 CK was harder than Step 1. Maybe because it’s longer? Maybe because I spent less time preparing for it? Many questions placed emphasis on prioritizing steps in a workup. For example, every answer choice was right, except only one was the best “initial” step. I found this difficult at times.Quality questions were weird and the medical questions often felt like they were asking what the second or third “next best step” was compared to what UW would ask. Scored 252 on UWSA2 10 days ago and an 81% on the free120 3 days ago but that test felt like nothing I’ve ever taken before.
