Jan 9, 2017 · I use a Dakota and a Foredom mini flesher. On a green whitetail cape I will use the wheel on the whole cape. Now once the cape has been tanned, I will use the wheel on the cape except for the face, I use the Foredom mini flesher for that. I also will use the mini flesher on the summer velvet deer capes and the small african game skins. Dec 26, 2020 · I have the mini flesher as well. It works pretty good once you get the hang of it. Beware however make sure you wear glasses/goggles and preferably an apron when using it. It slings fat, membrane and meat everywhere. Its no fun wiping membrane straight out of the pickle bath from your eye.
