Probably got the wire spring jammed against the frame. My brain neglected to remember the relationship between the barrel lug and the takedown lever in the P365. Sorry about that. It could be as stated by proofmark that the RSA isn't seated properly, or, the spring for the take down lever could be out of alignment.

Hello, Upon trying to reassemble my new P365 XL after cleaning and sliding the slide back on it got stuck about half an inch from the end - I've tried pressing the side lever but it still is stuck. It has a little bit of give but not enough to either slide back off to see what the problem is or to slide normally to where it should be.Mar 28, 2018 · The P365 uses a potentially weaker (smaller diameter rod) take down lever, but with a stronger metal pin arrangement that goes through the entire rear of the FCU and sits against the width of the grip just ahead of the beaver tail. This can work for occasional removal of the FCU. Lock the slide to the rear. Pull down the take down lever and hold it, while you bring the slide forward with your other hand. Try that. Hold the lever takedown forward and grab the slide from the rear, not the front. My levers usually are in the 7/8 o clock position. You’re looks like it’s at the 6 o clock.The transfer bar was preventing the takedown lever from rotating. I managed to get the takedown lever out of the frame but can't seem to find the right combination to re-install the takedown lever and locate the transfer bar in the slot on the takedown lever shaft.
