Mine was shortened for a 13" ish LOP. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.The 11-48 is a simpler design. 2. The 1100 reduces recoil more than the 11-48. 3. The 1100 requires more frequent cleaning, to keep the gas operating mechanism functioning properly. 4. When needed, parts for the 11-48 are a bit more difficult to locate. 5.
